From Visionary Master Distiller Chip Tate – known for his boundary-pushing spirits innovations – comes his calculated risk in expanding the frontiers of barrel finishing. Originally envisioning a double wine barrel-finished bourbon, he found that adding four additional, carefully selected barrel finishes offered something unique to the blend in structure, palate, and finish.
Tasting Notes: Rich and dry, Gambit No. 6 reveals itself in layers of baking spices on the notes, and a balanced palate with hints of cacao, sweet tobacco, and a diverse blend of ripe fruit notes.
